WHISKEY puts on his fancy clothes for a quick dance with high resolution freight photography in issue number ten. Whats normally a thick pile of photocopies changes format into a crispy presentation of Whiskey Texas' favorite photos. There are still plenty of photos of monikers, but they are the sun drenched colors and bleached out shadows of the ancient greats; Buster, Mud Up, Hollywood, the Duck, Bozo, Mainline Mac, Charlie Brown, and on and on. He's also got moniker action flicks and in-progress shots from many of the contemporary greats; Tex Goth, the Okie, Karso, Torch, an actual hamburger signed by the Hamburgler. baffling...
Whiskey has plenty of quality flicks from his travels, too. By freight, on the road, from big cities, to deserts, alone, and with many friends in tow. There's a ton going on here. It shows a deep passion for this railroad earth and the people who interact along the tracksides, swooping across this great nation from coast to coast with tons of miles in-between. Whiskey Texas is a hobo, a moniker artist, a fanatic, a punk, but most importantly, a photographer.
