You could follow his trails from late 90's Richmond to the greater NYC area, but BZEE has been at it for quite a minute. His resulting graffiti has equal parts old school funk and new school relevance. In his third installment of the SPRAY SNAKES zine series, BZEE does his best mix so far of graffiti flicks, blackbook scratches, and tripped out cartoon caricatures. There's a washed out color to the zine that matches the 35mm photos and airbrush fades; the mist of overspray and old memories. 
 
This zine has assembled a veritable grab bag of graffiti culture. About 100 variations on the b-boy character, freights and clean trains, two crazy sketches from PENIS, ERUPTO action mop tags, lime green fill-ins on an abandoned pool, and a business card from a graff-focused private investigator. You can see the paper cut lines showing that this zine was made by hand, the old school way. BZEE doing it the way it should be done.
