WHISKEY TEXAS is one of the great freight moniker zines out there, today and forever. His obsession is real and on display in the categorization of these drawings. Monikers are grouped by subject matter, by creator, by car type, by era, and pages and pages deep. There is a personal zine (perzine) and fanzine element to the formatting here too... a multi-page travelogue from a trip to the Florida SwampFest where a giant multi-story crocodile overlooks a skate ramp with metal rollercoaster railings welded on, hovering over a giant mud bog with piles of onlooking drunken spectators. Pretty rad. There's some photography of punk shows happening in Texas, and some great 80's hardcore record/tape reviews. 
 
But WHISKEY is super obsessed and thought that wasn't enough. So, he made a second zine of moniker photos, all featuring animals integrated into their markings. This zine organized by animal type. Damn. For real, this is the stuff I always dreamed of, and its still available for a cheap price. Not being resold on Ebay or just a small archived photo on the internet where you are wondering what the real thing looked like. Nothing better than the real thing.
