Whats an art book and what is a zine? LTD #3 is the third installment chronicling the adventures of the LTD Road Crew; AVOID pi, DROID 907, (and in this feature...) ZONO ngc, CHEVE tr, and more... There is a focus on freight trains; painting wholecars, riding on top, inside, and waiting and watching. Plenty of great stories ranging across first time riders, old timers, and bumming around Atlanta and New Orleans.
Droid's "Forbidden Roadtrip" minizine within a zine is worth the cost of admission in itself. Its a full-color study on his 100+ wholecar a year missions with friends you've seen over the years and many new faces. Look and see MTN, Fishglue, Touch, Port, Ruiner, Fowl, Cash4, Mind Detergent, and more... Cheve has a nice 4-page story stapled to the back along with photos from a shared roadtrip up to the Upper Peninsula with Avoid; another story worth telling in detail (one day). Zono contributes a story of hiding in the deep Mississippi bayou and an escape from the bulls' prying eyes, as well as how to be best prepared for a week-long journey on the steel beast.
