Flowers is a beautiful book of Polaroid photography from an under-acknowledged east coast underground creator; Marris Mielnick. He is a music producer, graffiti creeper, and an analog photographer -  all of which he does with focus and dedication.
 
Flowers shows the social side of Marris with over 100 photographs of New Orleans subterranean dwellers. Lots of artists, creators, and unique souls have exposed their faces to his lens with positive results. A scene is cataloged for those in the know and also for those looking to see who's still alive in the early 21st Century. This is a gorgeous photography book from a contemporary contender.
