Louis knows how to do this zine thing. He moved to the big city and its eating him up whole... Good thing Christian knows how to take a damn good picture. The photography here is excellent. Half of it is his high contrast, focal image, simple style. The other half is his level of access; there are so many exciting action shots here... Toast, Noxer, Snarf, Bleach, Droid, Samy, Radical, Hest, Knox, and Avoid.  If someone's not painting, they are not in the shot. Everything else is the city that these characters inhabit. A fun but ominous landscape of party and paint. 
 
Yes, this is a New York (and New Jersey) graffiti photo zine. Yes, there are lots of these out there. Christian is a serious photographer and makes his world look exciting, special, and different. Its his world, and you are invited to take a look inside his city. Having dipped my toe in that same water, I understand the feeling of impending death. Is it trash trains or that mist-covered swamp? Your choice.
