Boxcar Art Forever calls it like it is. A very basic layout with black and white photography of freight train monikers in all their glory. Bob puts the legends next to the new kings, next to strange one-offs, next to handstyles in markal. Its an equal playing field, just like if you went down the tracks to see who was on the next train. Its page after page of this detailed eye salad mixed greens. So much that you will always find something new on each visit.

This issue does have some great features, too. There is a nice couple of pages dedicated to the drawings of RETRIBALIZE, who I've been a fan of for years (a tag from '06 in there). An interview with TORCH, who's been doing railroad drawings since 1997. These felt like ancient legend, so it was a treat to hear more from behind the markings. And last but not least, there is a good sized interview with DUEL RIS, one of the rare moniker artists that are also linked to 80's era NYC graffiti history. Its a sleeper and a creeper of a zine.
