WHERE'S THE PARTY? - ROBIN GOLDBACH

In this small and strange zine from East Germany's golden child, Robin Goldbach, the title of "WHERE'S THE PARTY?" is interpreted far from the assumed anxious excitement, and much closer to confusion, obfuscation, and loneliness. The content of this zine comes from a brief holiday to Cologne, Germany where secret graffiti fun was had and photographed on a tricked out Lomo camera. When the film came back it was barely intelligible, with light leaks and grainy washes covering up the good times.
Robin took what could have been a waste and turned it into a haunting and abstract graffiti zine. It follows Third Planet Books' style of well put together packaging and quality printing. The 5"x7" size references the photographs themselves, leaving the viewer to look closely to see sneak peaks of action, adventure, and painted names among the fog of memory.
