"Native American Petroglyphs are not graffiti. Graffiti consists of marks made where they do not rightfully belong. In only a few rare cases were petroglyphs crossed out in ancient times, perhaps because of changes in territories or religions."

Stylistically, Petroglyphs... breaks new ground on the formula of the typical minizine. The custom fold provides numerous hidden surprises that are unveiled at each new level in the zine. Content-wise, Petroglyphs... reprints excerpts from a Southwestern tourist guide along with high-contrast photos of some truly "old school" communication written in stone.
