DERAIL SUMMER '20 - DERAIL FREIGHT ZINE

DERAIL has a definite vibe that sets it apart from any other freight train / graffiti zine on the market. This series has a space-age photoshop computer touch layered with a thick dose of heavy metal aggression. Comprised from image submissions by a variety of instagrammers based around the country, this one has so many different flavors of piece styles, reporting marks, and background scenery. Quite a few of the images appear to be taken by workers, while others look like views from drones flying at strange angles. There is so much info featured that this zine begs for a second, third, and fourth look.
Derail Summer '20 also has some writing on a freight train obsessed tattoo artist, (hopper and moniker writer) Josh Hayward, a grimy old school PA punk road rat who can pull some traditional style designs from a life well lived.
This issue is dedicated to @the_fr8_fix, a Conrail carman and regular participant in the Derail Freight Zine. Catch his flick of a literal derailment in the last pages...
