ARS LONGA... VITA BREVIS - LAMPS

We are super happy to share a new zine from freight moniker writer, printmaker, photographer, and mail-artist; LAMPS. Ars Longa... is a polaroid and collage storyteller that seems simple and whimsical at first glance. Stare deeper into the two page spreads to read a glimpse into the inner workings of this Pennsylvania based artist.
There is a decidedly working class, punk, small town vibe that comes through in the subject matter and aesthetic. The printing style of grainy punk xerox on random rainbow paper couples well with images of stars and stripes, disappearing railroads, and coal miners. Pick up a copy of this zine to see more of what's behind those shining lights drawn on the sidelines of your favorite boxcar.
