Animalistic Behavior is the title of Derail Freight Zine's first published collection of moniker drawings. You know, monikers: those cool doodles and scribbles on the sides of freight trains. This bedtime reader is a true crash course in this esoteric subculture of graffiti. The full color printing helps show the faded layers of classic messages from Flow, Other, The Artful Dodger, and so many more. With as much as 25 crispy detailed images of drawings per page, you will find all of your favorites and two times as many more names that you have never seen before.

The mainly image based content of monikers makes them more relatable and populist than traditional rap letter graffiti, which typically aims to distort communication. Monikers also hold rather tightly to a tradition of recording the date of application, bringing attention to their age and transience.
